Abstract
The purpose of this study: 1) Describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SD Negeri Jenggrik 4 Kedawung Sragen. 2) Describe the role of the teacher in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SD Negeri Jenggrik 4 Kedawung Sragen. 3) Describe the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the 2013 curriculum in Jenggrik 4 Elementary School, Kedawung Sragen. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The design in this study uses the design of Phenomenology. This study uses two data, primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained through observation techniques and strengthened using interview techniques. Then the secondary data obtained through documentation techniques. Analysis of the data in this study uses descriptive qualitative research analysis that only collects, writes, and concludes responses from sources obtained by the author by interviewing and collecting documents relating to this researcher. Based on the research that has been done, the research results are obtained that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SD Negeri Jenggrik 4 is applied through a scientific approach. Each teacher before carrying out learning activities must first prepare lesson plans, media, teaching aids, and other supporting tools. The obstacles in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SD Negeri Jenggrik 4 namely lack of student learning independence, the many elements of assessment done by teachers, and requires a long time in the recording of grades on report cards. To implement independence in learning, teachers complain that there are many assessment elements in students in the 2013 curriculum, some students have not been able to connect subjects with one another, completion of material for each theme is time-limited (each theme for 1 month), and recording evaluation of report cards that require extra time.
