Abstract

Abstract Bronchial asthma is a chronic respiratory tract disorder characterized by hyperreactivity and inflammation of the respiratory tract against certain exposures. Exposures that cause asthma include exercise, infections, allergens such as flower pollen, chemicals can also be exposures in terms of work, and the last exposure is from the environment such as dust or environmental tobacco smoke. To find out the benefits of Nebulizer and Diaphragmatic Breathing in increasing FEV1 values and reduce shortness of breath in bronchial asthma. After therapy with Nebulizer using three mg of Ventolin and three times Diaphragmatic Breathing, FEV1 values were obtained at T1: 66% and at T3: 89% and breathless values T1: 4 to T3: 3. Giving Nebulizer modality and Diaphragmatic Breathing in bronchial asthma can provide relaxation to the bronchi and maximize inspiration so that it can increase the value of FEV1 and reduce shortness of breath.
