Abstract
Indonesia is a developing country. One of the problems in developing countries including Indonesia is the level of unemployment. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the unemployment rate in Indonesia starting from 1991-2017. This research method uses a PAM (partial adjustment model). The data used in this study used secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The amount of data taken in this study was 27 years. The variables used in this study are open unemployment, domestic investment, MSE, labor force, GDP. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that domestic investment and the workforce had a significant effect while MSEs and GDP did not significantly influence the unemployment rate in Indonesia.
