Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, education, unemployment, inflation and health on poverty in Central Java in 2013-2017. The data used is a cross section covering 35 regencies / cities in Central Java in 2013-2015, the type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Java Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and national journals as supporters. The results of the study show that Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the best model of the panel data model. Based on the validity test the influence shows that economic growth (GRDP) has no influence on poverty, education (EDU) has an influence on poverty, unemployment (TPT) has an influence on poverty, inflation (INF) has no influence on poverty and Health (AHH) has influence on poverty.
