Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out whether Bank Size, Equity to Tottal Assets Ratio (EAR), Loan to Deposits Ratio (LDR), and Loan Loss Provision (LLP) have an effect on Bank Profitability (ROA). The population in this study were 43 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during 2018. The number of samples used was 40 banks with those obtained by purposive sampling method. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis by performing a classic assumption test first. The research results based on the Determination Coefficient test (R2) indicate the Bank Size, EAR. LDR and LLP can explain Bank Profitability (ROA). Test Result F shows Size, EAR. LDR and LLP together have a significant effect on Bank Profitability (ROA). The t test results show Size and EAR have a significant effect on Bank Profitability (ROA), while the LDR and LLP do not have a significant effect on Bank Profitability (ROA).
