Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of training and work environment on the rattan furniture industry in Trangsan District, Gatak District, Sukoharjo Regency. This study uses the purporsive sampling method, in the rattan furniture industry in Trangsan Village, Gatak, Sukoharjo with a population of 2000 employees and a sample of 100 employees. This study uses multiple linear regression test with the analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, the estimation model test predictor, and hypothesis testing (t test). The results of this study indicate that training variables have an effect on and significant on employee performance, accepted. Work environment variables have no effect and are not significant on employee performance, rejected.
