Abstract

Rafi’ah Rizqi ‘Amalia. A520150018. INCREASING FINE MOTOR ABILITY THROUGH CREATIVE GAMES IN PRESCHOLLERS GROUP A AT RA ALMUAYYAD KINDERGARTEN, WINDAN, SUKOHARJO SCHOOL YEAR 2018/2019. Undergraduate Thesis. The Faculty of Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. July, 2019. The aim of this study was to increasing the fine motor ability through creative games in preschoolers group A at RA Al-Muayyad Kindergarten, Windan, Sukoharjo school year 2018/2019. This study was done using Classroom Action Research ( CAR) with 3 cycles. The subject in this study were 9 preschoolers consist of 5 males and 4 females that joined in group A at RA Al-Muayyad Kindergarten, Windan, Sukoharjo. The result found that creative games could increasing the fine motor in preschoolers group A. The fine motor ability rise 54.3% in the first cycle, 56.8% in the second cycle and 82.7% in the third cycle. This study was done with indicators, there are : hand movement controlling using smooth muscle ( pickup, stroking, holding in one’s fist, twisting, squeezing), making the vertical line, horizontal line, right/left curve, right/left oblique and circle, eyes and hands coordination to do complicated movement, self expression to do works of art using any media.
