Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of gross domestic product, provincial minimum wages and inflation on employment opportunities in Indonesia. The data used is a time series that covers 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2001-2017, data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as well as other agencies and institutions or other literary sources related to this research. The model used in this study is the Error Correction Model (ECM). The results of this study indicate that the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) and Inflation (INF) variables have a significant effect on employment opportunities in Indonesia, while the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) variable does not significantly influence employment opportunities in Indonesia. The results showed (R2) of R2 = 0.900073 which means 90.00. This means that the influence of the independent variable (gross domestic product, provincial minimum wage and inflation) on the dependent variable (employment opportunity) is 90.00%. while the remaining 10.00% is influenced or explained by other factors outside of this research model.
