Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between giving rewards and learning motivation of group B children at Ibnu Khaldun 01 Pati Kindergarten Year 2018/2019. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive correlation design. Data collection technic used are observation and questionnaire. The observation sheet instrument was used to measure the variables of children's learning motivation while the questionnaire to measure the variable giving rewards from parents. This research was conducted in May 2019 at Ibnu Khaldun 01 Pati Kindergarteni with a population of 30 children in group B and 30 parents / guardians of students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis for data presentation and product moment correlation for hypothesis testing, The results of data analysis using the product moment correlation test with the help of SPSS15 obtained the sig value. 0.445 <0.05, it was concluded that there was no significant relationship between giving rewards and learning motivation of children in group B at Ibnu Khaldun 01 Pati Kindergarten Year 2018/2019.
