Abstract

This study uses time series secondary data, the data is obtained from the statistical center (BPS), world bank, bank Indonesia which covers from 1995-2017. This study uses multiple linear analysis tools using ordinary least square (OLS) method. Based on the results of the analysis of the normality test shows that the data is normally distributed. The linearity test results show that the linear model. The classic assumption test has a multicollinearity problem in the model. The results of the t test show the variables of gross domestic product, foreign exchange reserves and population have a significant effect on Indonesian imports from Singapore in 1995-2017. The determination coefficient of 0.823 means that 82.3% of the variation in the Indonesian import variable from Singapore can be explained by the variables of gross domestic product, Singapore dollar exchange rate, foreign exchange reserves, and population variables, the remaining 17.7% is explained by other variables not included in the model.
