Abstract

Abstract This research aims to: (1) tested the influence of learning model of discovery learning and problem based learning towards the learning of mathematical results, (2) to test the influence of independence against the results of the learning of mathematics, (3) to test the effect of the interaction model of learning with independence against the results of the learning of mathematics. Types of quantitative research design with a quasi-experiment. The study sample consists of two classes (experimental and control) taken by means of Cluster Random Sampling of the population, namely the entire grade X quality control SMK Negeri 1 Mojosongo years lessons 2018/2019. Data collection techniques with now, tests, and documentation. Prior research, first performed a test to find out the balance of both samples have the same initial ability. Test of normality, and test its homogeneity is a prerequisite test analysis in this research. Data analysis techniques using variansi analysis of two way cell does not equal to 5% significance level. The results of this research were obtained: (1) there is the influence of model learning discovery learning and problem based learning towards a learning outcomes for mathematics. The learning model DL has better influence compared to model learning PBL (2) there is the influence of student's independence against the results of the learning of mathematics. (3) there is no interaction between the model of teaching and learning styles of students toward outcome studied mathematics.
