Abstract

ABSTRACT Karanganyar Regency is one of 35 Regencies / Cities in Central Java Province. Karanganyar Regency has boundaries with Sragen Regency in the north, East Java Province in the east, Wonogiri Regency and Sukoharjo Regency in the south and Surakarta City and Boyolali Regency in the west. The aim of the establishment of Karanganyar Cinema Center is to advance the film industry in Indonesia. So that in the end, a facility that is able to meet the needs of the Karanganyar Regency is needed. With the existence of satisfying facilities, of course, it will certainly reduce people's consumption of access to illegal films such as pirated DVDs or through websites that will certainly harm the state and reduce people's appreciation for the world of cinema.
