Abstract

Klaten is a region located in Central Java Province. Klaten consists of several sub-districts. Each sub-district in Klaten Regency has a distinctive industry characteristic. For example, Ceper District. Ceper District is known to the public as the center of the metal casting industry. This is indicated by the many companies in the field of metal casting. Metal casting is a manufacture that uses liquid metal and molds to produce the desired shape or product. In Batur Ceper precisely, is a village with a majority of livelihoods in this industry. In addition to the middle to upper industries, in Batur Ceper there is also a special metal casting Polytechnic. This shows that Ceper District is the best industrial area in Klaten Regency. Nevertheless, the construction of the Metal Industry Creative Tourism Center in Batur Ceper Village, Klaten, can add to the broad knowledge of the community about traditional to modern metal casting. With this plan, it can increase economic growth among local residents and introduce the heritage industry from the era of Mataram
