Abstract
One determinant of the quality of learning is determined by a quality learning media. With a quality learning media, the learning objectives that have been designed will go according to plan. Quality learning media can be seen from how effective the learning media is used by PAI teachers to improve the quality of student learning. This research is to find out the use of learning media as an effort to improve the learning quality of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the X class of Motorcycle Engineering at SMK Negeri 6 Sukoharjo. The problem studied is how is the use of learning media as an effort to improve the learning quality of Islamic Education teachers in the X class of Motorcycle Engineering at SMK Negeri 6 Sukoharjo? The purpose of this study is to describe the use of instructional media by Islamic religious education teachers and the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers to improve the quality of learning. This study included a type of qualitative research that used field studies at SMK Negeri 6 Sukoharjo. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive analysis approach with qualitative deductive methods. Based on the results of the research and data analysis conducted by the researcher, the researcher can draw the conclusion that PAI teachers in teaching in the classroom are equipped with LCDs so that learning media are used such as power point media, picture media, and video media. Power point media contains material points, media images containing images displayed in accordance with the material, and video media containing video playback in accordance with the material. Learning media can improve the quality of learning PAI. This is indicated by the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and student interest. The efforts of PAI teachers in improving the quality of learning include: preparing learning by creating a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), providing ice breaking to students, using media that is suitable for variation, and how to deliver pleasant material in accordance with the lesson.
