Abstract

The area is an area that has many tourist attractions. One tourist destination that is currently in great demand by tourists is nature tourism. There is an area that has natural tourism potential in the form of beaches and oceans located in the city of Gunungkidul. A variety of beautiful beaches are presented with stunning natural scenery. There are more than 34 beaches in the famous Gunungkidul, including Indrayanti Beach, Siung Beach, Timang Beach, Nglambor Beach, Wediombo Beach, Watu Kodok Beach, Jogan Beach, Sadeng Beach, Slili Beach, Seruni Beach, Ngobaran Beach, Wohkudu Beach, Beach Ngrumput, Sanglen Beach, Ngandong Beach, Baron Beach, Gesing Beach, Mbirit Beach, Ambil Beach, Sundak Beach, Kesirat Beach, Nguyahan Beach, Sepanjang Beach, Jungwok Beach, Nanggan Beach, Ngedan Beach , Greweng Beach, Drini Beach, Pok Tunggal Beach, Ngrenehan Beach and many more. The developing natural potential requires facilities for tourists to spend longer in tourist attractions. One of them is by designing a hotel resort near attractions. The number of considerations that support such as very good access that facilitates tourist roads and the naturalness of tourist objects that are always maintained. The method used in this study uses quantitative studies, carried out by data collection in the Ngestirejo Village, Tanjungsari District, Gunungkidul. This data is used as a reference in designing Sea Shore Hotel Resorts with an Ecological Architecture Approach which is expected to facilitate tourist attractions around Gunungkidul.
