Abstract
Jamu is a superior industry that is identical to Nguter District. Jamu in Nguter Village had existed since 1960 but the government at that time had not given special attention and development to Nguter Village. As time goes on, the herbal medicine peracik in Nguter Village has increased, which in the beginning in 1984 there were 35 traditional herbal household industries with a total of 49 workers. The following year increased to 36 with a total of 52 workers (BPS Sukoharjo in 1987 figures). In 2012 there were 1000 people who worked as herbal makers and continued to increase until now. However, at this time, many herbal medicine manufacturers complain about government regulations regarding traditional drug regimes (Nguter Village) that make herbal vendors scream. The method used in this study used qualitative studies, which were conducted using literature studies, data collection interviews with the Nguter Village community. This data is used as a reference in designing the Educational Park and Jamu Gallery in Nguter Village, Sukoharjo with the Tropical Architecture Approach which is expected to provide a tourist spot and give positive favors to traditional herbal medicine.
