Abstract

Education is a primary need for every individual. Along with the passage of time and the development of our day as individuals are required to focus more on the field of education with the advancement of Science and technology. To improve human resources, quality education is a valuable long-term investment. The progress of a nation in the present and future will be highly determined by the young generation who will be the successor of the nation itself. One of the factors that have not yet been realized in Indonesia's advanced education, namely the low interest of reading that is difficult to avoid in the community. In fact, someone will be a smart, critical person and having a high analytical power can be obtained from the habit and favorite reading. By reading the same can also be the event and the time for oneself to think, ponder, develop their own creativity. Many even students whose interests are still low when the book also plays a big role in education especially for those who have a need in reference search to support science. The Government has a duty to facilitate adequate educational facilities and infrastructure, such as libraries, reading parks, and other information centers and subsidizes reading materials to the corners of the homeland, so that the public will Can obtain information resources quickly and easily. Klaten Digital Library is a public facility in the field of education that serves as a container for the processing of information and knowledge equipped with technology and packed with contemporary architecture concept (which emphasized on Technology used and the Klaten Digital Library service System).
