Abstract

Down sydrome is one of on most common chromosomal disorders seen in humans in this disorder due to 21 chromosomal abnormalities. In children with Down syndrome, they will experience many disorders, one of which is the delay in growth and development so that it will interfere with functional activities. The goal to be achieved is to know the management of physiotherapy in helping to improve functional activity in cases of Down syndrome children. The results obtained after doing physiosterapy 6 times get the results of no increase or change in the Denver Developmental Screening Test II with social personal T1: 7 delay to T6: 7 delays, fine motor adaptation T1: 2 delay to T6: 2 delay, T6 language: 9 delays to T6: 9 delay and gross motoric: 13 delay to T6: 13, increased muscle strength. Giving modalities in the form of Neuro Develoopment Treatment can help to increase the strength muscle strength of in improving the ability of functional activities there has been no significant increase in cases of Down syndrome children.
