Abstract
The market is meaningful as a gathering place in which social interactions occur between various kinds of human characters as well as a place for economic activities to take place. In an area, traditional markets are needed to meet daily needs. Baturejo village is in Sukolilo sub-district and does not yet have its own market. The Baturejo village community in buying needs must go to other regional markets to buy their needs. So that this is not good in the welfare of the community. Therefore, it is necessary to build a market in this Baturejo Village. In its own development for market buildings that will be designed in the area of Baturejo Village using the neo vernacular architectural approach, namely the use of local elements combined with modern patterns. The use of the neo vernacular approach was used so as not to eliminate the identity of buildings in the Pati Regency area. Thus, the market is expected to be a place to meet the needs of the local community and to preserve the identity of the local building, so that the community will know and continue to remember the local building and not just forget it.
