Abstract

VINA AULIA AL HAQ / A520150008. THE EFFECT OF LEARNING MOTIVATION AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT ON LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF FKIP UMS PG-PAUD STUDENTS. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University Muhammadiyah of Surakarta. In May, 2019. The purpose of this study was to find out 1) The effect of learning motivation and learning environment on the learning achievement students of Early Chilhood Education. 2) The relative contribution of learning motivation and learning environment to student learning achievement. 3) Effective contribution of learning motivation and learning environment to student learning achievement. This research includes the type of descriptive research. The population was 164 students with 63 samples taken by propotionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection on learning motivation and learning environment was conducted through questionnaires, while learning achievement data was collected through documentation in the form of transcripts of value. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study answered. 1) there is a positive effect of learning motivation and learning environment on learning achievement, this is indicated by the F value of 53.069 with a smaller significance level of 0.000 <0.05, and the R square value of 0.639 which means that the independent variable can explain the dependent variable of 63.9%. 2) learning motivation contributes 31% relative to learning achievement, and the learning environment contributes 69% relative to learning achievement. 3) Learning motivation gives an effective contribution of 19.81% to learning achievement, while the learning environment makes an effective contribution of 44.1%. Total effective contribution is 63.91% while 36.09% of the other variables are not examined.
