Abstract

Security and public order (kamtibmas) is an effort that should be created. In accordance with the role of the National Police which is directly related to the community. This research is a descriptive study with an empirical juridical approach method. The results of this study reveal that the profile of the legal regulations governing police partnership with the community in realizing kamtibmas is regulated in Law No. 2 of 2002 concerning the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia, other than those stipulated in the Regulation of the Chief of the National Police No. 3 of 2015 concerning Community Policing manifested in the form of FKPM. The security and order situation of Gemolong Subdistrict can be said to be still prone to the occurrence of potential kamtibmas disturbances. FKPM in realizing Community Service as well as fostering siskamling activities, pam swakarsa, traffic management.
