Abstract
Anatomically, the leaf Musa paradisiaca and Musa balbisiana composed of upper and lower epidermis, hypodermis, palisade and spongy, xylem and phloem. Morphological and anatomical structure is one of the factors that influence plant resistance to some specific pathogens. This study aimed to compare the anatomical structure of leaf ambon banana and banana leaves klutuk. The method used is qualitative method, using the preserved anatomical preparations banana leaves ambon and banana leaves klutuk. The measured parameters such as thickness of the upper and lower epidermis, hypodermis, palisade and spongy, xylem and phloem of banana leaves ambon and banana leaves klutuk. Results of the research showed that the ambon banana and klutuk banana has a thickness of anatomical structure of leaves that are not significantly different (μm 1638.83 and 1627.83 m). Ambon banana has a thickness of 49 μm hypodermic tissue, palisade and spongy parenchyma (55 μm and 39 m), xylem and phloem (34 μm and 27 m), and lower epidermis 18 μm thicker however, for the upper epidermis thinner that is 11 lm. While on a klutuk banana leaf, network hypodermic 43 μm, parenchyma palisade and spongy (46 μm and 32 m), xylem and phloem (16 μm and 24 m) and lower epidermis 11 μm thinner, but to the epidermal layer of more thick and 15 μm ,
