Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the factors that influence income inequality in Lampung Province in 2013-2017. The factors that influence income inequality in this study include the Human Development Index (HDI), Economic Growth , Job Opportunities , Population, and Regional Minimum Wages using the data regression method. panel. Panel data is a combination of cross section data and time series data. The most appropriate model in this study is using the Pooled Least Square (PLS) method after performing the chow test, hausman test and Lagrange Multiplier Test. The results of this study indicate that the variable Human Development Index (HDI) has a positive and significant effect on income inequality in Lampung Province in 2013- 2017
