Abstract
This study aims to determine how the implementation of trade secret protection and forms of action are considered as violations of trade secrets and efforts to resolve them. This research is descriptive, namely research that aims to describe something in a particular area and at a certain time. This research was conducted with a sociological juridical approach in which an approach that applies social science but does not forget a legal or juridical rule combined with social facts related to the research. The data in this study include Primary Data and Secondary Data. Where Primary Data is a number of information or facts that are directly and results of interviews with the owner of the Race Bike Tea Company. The results of this study The authors conclude that the steps that have been applied to protect trade secret information, especially those related to the Production method and the Sales Method have met the criteria of Law No. 30 of 2000 concerning Trade Secrets. Whereas with actions that constitute violations of trade secrets, namely theft of production methods and methods of sale by employees, efforts are made to dismiss or terminate employment without demanding compensation or through court proceedings or arbitration as stipulated in Article 12 and Article 17 of the Act - Law No. 30 of 2000.
