Abstract

Vitamin A yang terkandungan dalam Air Susu Ibu atau ASI menjadi sumber utama untuk kebutuhan bayi dari 0 bulan pertama hingga bayi berusia 2 tahun. Kekurangan Vitamin A (KVA) dapat menurunkan sistem kekebalan tubuh balita, meningkatkan risiko kesakitan dan kematian serta menjadi penyebab utama kebutaan pada anak dan dapat dicegah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang pemberian vitamin A dengan metode scramble terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil di desa Kertonatan, kecamatan Kartasura, kabupaten Sukoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra experimental dengan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan rancangan one group design pre-post test. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 15 ibu hamil. Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test diperoleh nilai Zscore -3.436 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 yang mana terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 55,00 dan posttest sebesar 80,60, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang vitamin A dengan metode scramble terhadap tingkat pengetahuan ibu hamil di desa Kertonatan, kecamatan Kartasura, kabupaten Sukoharjo. Lack of Vitamin A (KVA) can reduce a toddler's immune system, increasing the risk of morbidity and death and being a major cause of blindness in children and can be prevented. This study aims to determine the effect of health education about giving vitamin A with the scramble method to the knowledge of pregnant women in Kertonatan village, Kartasura sub-district, Sukoharjo regency. This study used a preexperimental method with quantitative analysis using a one group design pre-post test design. The sampling technique used was total sampling with the number of respondents as many as 15 pregnant women. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained a Zscore value of -3.436 and a significance value of 0.001, where there was a difference in the average pretest value of 55.00 and posttest of 80.60, so it can be concluded that there was an influence of health education about vitamin A with the scramble method on the level of knowledge of pregnant women in Kertonatan village, Kartasura sub-district, Sukoharjo district.
