Abstract
Plantar fasciitis is an inflammatory condition of the plantar fascia inserted into the medial calcaneal tubercle that occurs as a result of plantar fascial overstressing, the result of which usually causes discomfort or pain in the soles of the feet. The main causes of plantar fasciitis are believed to be multifactoral including abnormal biomechanics of the foot, or even pain management in the leg that is late treated. Pain in plantar fasciitis usually occurs suddenly, it will be felt after waking up in the morning or after sitting too long and will disappear after being moved. Graston technique and active stretching are given to reduce plantar fasciitis pain in SPG. The dose of graston technique for 5 minutes, and active stretching for 10 seconds of exercise, 3 seconds pause, with 10 repetitions, this study was conducted for 2 weeks with 3 meetings. Selection of respondents based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and questionnaires given to employees. Methods with two groups of each sample group consisting of 10 people randomly determined. Obtained the results of the graston technique with active stretching more significantly influence the decrease in pain in plantar fasciitis.
