Abstract

This study entitled “Analysis of the Effect of Human Development Index, Minimum Wages, Inflation, and GRDP on Unemployment Levels in Surakarta City in 2002-2017”. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of HDI, minimum wages, inflation, and gross regional domestic product on unemployment levels in Surakarta City. In this study secondary data is used as time series. This research in a quantitative study using a Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression analysis model. Based on the results variable of gross regional domestic products have a significant effect on unemployment levels in Surakarta City. While the variables of human development index, minimum wages, and inflation have no influence on the level of umenployment in Surakarta City.
