Abstract

In fulfilling the community's need to purchase motorized vehicles and because the community does not always have sufficient income to obtain an item, the financial institution can provide convenience in terms of funding specifically for the community. This study examines the form and content of consumer financing agreements at PT Summit Oto Finance Surakarta between finance companies and consumers and the application of the principle of trust in consumer financing agreements at PT Summit Oto Finance Surakarta. This research is descriptive qualitative research and the legal approach method used is normative juridical. The research results that the authors conclude from this research are that the form and content of the agreement are made in writing with the title of the Consumer Financing Agreement at PT Oto Finance Surakarta between the Financing and Consumer Companies. And the application of the principle of trust is carried out before the implementation of the consumer agreement, namely by providing conditions that must be fulfilled to purchase motorized vehicles and at the time of the implementation of the agreement, namely by giving ownership rights to the vehicle as collateral to creditors.
