Abstract
Abstract This study aims to know the forms of cohesion and coherence errors in class students' writing X Muhammadiyah East Belitung Vocational High School, to pay more attention to the cohesiveness and coherence of paragraph sentences when making written works. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects were class X students of East Belitung Muhammadiyah Vocational School, and the object of this research was written or narrative essays and descriptive of students. Data collection techniques used in the study were observation, testing, documentation, and document analysis techniques. The results of the study concluded that cohesion errors and coherence Conclusions from the results stated, the teacher must be clearer in conveying the correct use of language. So that students better understand and can make good or right writing or essays.
