Abstract

Abstract Religiosity in the family is very necessary in fostering noble character and can build emotional attachment parents of children. This study aims to determine the relationship of religiosity parents to emotional attachment parents of children in Banjarsari sub-district, Surakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with scale to measure the religiosity parents variable and emotional attachment parents of children variable. The sampling technique uses Accidental Sampling. Respondents consisted of 60 families both father and mother in Banjarsari sub-district. Research data is processed using correlation analysis. The results of the study obtained a correlation coefficiend of 0,755. This shows that religiosity parents has a very significant positive relationship to emotional attachment parents of children. It means, the higher religiosity parents, it will cause the emotional attachment parents of children increase. The role of religiosity parents for emotional attachment parents of children is 57% and the remaining 43%. This means attachment of children is influenced by other variables, such as parental, child communication and parental affection.
