Abstract

ABSTRACK Landslides are natural disasters that often occur in Jenawi Subdistrict due to very diverse topographic conditions because they are on the slopes of Mount Lawu. The occurrence of landslide events is needed to map landslide prone areas to minimize losses caused by landslides. This research is about the distribution of landslide vulnerability and limiting factors that cause landslides in the study area using stratified random sampling methods, methods of collecting data with field observations and secondary data collection. The parameters used in this study are rainfall, slope, soil type, rock type, soil depth and land use. The method of data analysis uses two methods, namely the method of appreciation and descriptive analysis. The results of this study were found that there were two classes of landslide vulnerability in the study area, namely the low class with a total score of 7-13 covering an area of 1,546 ha with a percentage of 31% from the entire research area and the middle class with a total score of 14-20 covering 3,474 ha. 69% of all research areas. The distribution of landslide vulnerability classes is in all villages in Jenawi District with a very influential limiting factor, namely slope, soil type, and land use. Keywords: Vulnerability, landslide, District Jenawi.
