Abstract

THE RELATION BETWEEN FAMILY’SKNOWLEDGE AND RELAPSE ON OSTEOARTHRITIS IN MAKAMHAJIVILLAGE By: Imelda Widiyatama ABSTRACT GovernmentexertionimproveslifeexpectancypeopleinIndonesiathatbeginto showthegoodresult,thisneedagratitudeexpressioninbesides,thissituation influencestransitionofepidemiologyinhealthyfieldwhichresultofimproving illnessratefromdegenerativediseasesoneofthemisosteoarthritis.Theaimof thisstudyistoknowtherelationbetweenfamily’sknowledgeonosteoarthritis andrelapseonosteoarthritisinMakamHajivillage.Thisstudyusesqualitative researchwithcorrelationaldesignin40sample.Techniqueofdatais simple randomsampling.Thevariableisfamily’sknowledgeandrelapseon osteoarthritisbyusingquestionerandfieldnotesofobservation.Theanalyzingof datausesKendall’sTau.Theresultofthisstudygetsamounts23respondents (57,5%)havelessknowledgeand22respondentsoftengetarelapsemeanwhile,1 respondentbarelygetarelapse,11respondent(27,5%)haveknowledgeenough and10respondentsbarelygetarelapseand1anotheroftengetarelapse,6other respondent(15%)haveahighknowledgeaboutosteoarthritisandallrespondents barelygetarelapseonosteoarthritis.Basedontheresultofthisstudy,the analyzingofdataisfoundbyKendall’stau=-(0,884)meanwhile,pvalue= 0,000.Fromtheanalyzingdatacanconcludethatthisstudyhasanegativestrong relationthatmeansthereareapowerfulRelationbetweenFamily’sKnowledge andRelapseonOsteoarthritisinMakamHajiVillagewhichisthemore knowledge rateso theless relapse.
