Abstract
This research studied the use of bagasse waste as fuel briquettes. The variables studied were the mass ratio of bagasse waste which has been carbonated and the adhesive of tapioca flour. The just tipe quality of briquettes was measured based on the water content, ash content, fixed carbon content, volatile matter content, and caloric value. From the mass ratio used (9:41,2789 ; 8:24,2698 ; 7:32,1358 ; 6:18,0894 ; 5:17,4751), it is known that the ratio of 8: 24,2698 gives the highest caloric value of 2385,553 cal/g.
