Abstract

Counting is something that students fear. In the observations that have been made, students still do not understand about counting and feel lazy when meeting numeracy learning. This causes students' learning motivation to count to be reduced. Students with characteristics like games will feel more fun learning applications that can be used as learning media. This study aims to determine the development, feasibility, and effectiveness of the MATH FUN application as a medium to increase the motivation of first grade students in learning to count. The research method used is the Research and Development (R & D) method using the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques used are tests and non-tests. The analysis technique used is the appropriateness of the application. The development of the MATH FUN application as a medium to increase numeracy learning motivation for class I students, through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the assessment by media experts are said to be very feasible with an overall average of 90% and the assessment of material experts in the very feasible category with an overall average of 92.78%. Assessment of aspects tested to students get an average of 92.79% which is categorized as very agree. The test results were obtained by the Asymp Sig of 0.00 <0.05, then rejected and Ha was accepted, so the use of the MATH FUN application as a medium to increase numeracy learning motivation for grade I students in SD N Bener 3 was effective against student learning outcomes. The results of the research application MATH FUN as a medium for increasing numeracy learning motivation class I students are very feasible to use to increase students' learning motivation in counting.
