Abstract

ABSTRACT Current development make business competition become strict. This strict competition force any business people to keep improving. CV Hasan Pratama is one of a producer of study accompany book that trade their product almost throughout Indonesia. All this time, choosing raw material’s supplier is done without any certain calculation. This causeproblems in performance of production. In this research, several calculation is done to choose which supplier is better to critical raw material. ABC method is used to find out which raw material is critical, and TOPSIS method is used for decision making on the best suppliers. From the calculation, it is known that CD paper roll 79 gramatur 45 is the critical raw material. There are four main suppliers of CD paper roll 79 gramatur 45, these are PT. Mitra Papirus Utama, PT. Depa Media Grafika, CV. Abadi Jaya and PT. Utama Jayatama Indah. After calculation from these four suppliers, obtained preference score of 0,616 to PT. Mitra Papirus Utama; 0,49 to PT Depa Media Grafika sebesar; 0,734 to CV. Abadi Jaya and 0,235 to PT. Utama Jayatama Indah sebesar 0,235. Keywords: supplier choosing, ABC analysis, TOPSIS
