Abstract

This research entitled "Study of Causality of Economic Growth and Human Development Index in Wonogiri District " Economic growth is one indicator of success in development. While the Human Development Index is used to measure the quality of human capital. The purpose of this study is to causality analisys between Economic Growth and the Human Development Index in Wonogiri District. Period of this research is time series starting in 2005-2017. The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The analytical method used in this study is causality analysis with the Error Corecction Model (ECM). Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that Economic Growth and Human Development Index don’t have reciprocal relationship or causality.
