Abstract

Science as well as in the current technological era makes an increasing need for electricity, followed by a large increase in population growth and development by itself, this is what causes the importance of the need for electric power among people who experience a large increase in electricity consumption proportional to the increase in electricity demand every year. The use of physical energy that continues to increase because of the need for electricity for people's lives and the development of technology for human life makes the need for electricity more high. Therefore the fulfillment of a large electrical energy makes the problem a problem for the state electricity company (PLN) including the power losses, so that the electricity delivered by the PLN is not all acceptable and used by customers. Because not all electrical energy received by the customer causes a loss for the PLN that is large enough in terms of channeling electrical energy which should match the supply capacitance of PLN, then because of this rotating blackouts are held to avoid the system from total outages due to overload due to power losses . Power losses cause electricity to be discharged to the customer to be reduced because power is lost on the way, power loss will always be there because the equipment used does not all have a 100% level of efficiency so the author: evaluates the calculation of power losses manually, in evaluation of power losses on the JJR-7 feeder distribution network, the rowing station JJR-7 manual calculation shows that the power shrinkage during the day is 1.25-1.45% and at night 1.65-1.82% the results show that: shrinkage the allowable power is only 2% after evaluating it is known that the power losses at the jajar substation are still at the permitted standard, network optimization is distributed and minimizing losses is the author's expectation for realization.
