Abstract

Muhammadiyah 2 Middle School Kartasura is a school located in Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency. The learning process still does not apply much learning media, especially social studies subjects. Based on the description of the problem, the researcher was interested in conducting research and development to find out (1) the development of learning media maket in learning space interaction material in Muhammadiyah 2 Kartasura Middle School Sukoharjo Regency (2) improving learning in material interactions between spaces using maket media. This research is a research and development (R & D) study that uses the Dick & Carry development design model, ADDIE. Pre-experimental design, the form of the One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Data collection techniques used are documentation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. Test requirements for data analysis using validity and reliability tests. Then test the data analysis using the normality test and T test (T-Test) to answer the hypothesis. The results showed that (1) The development of learning learning media at Muhammadiyah 2 Kartasura Middle School in Sukoharjo Regency using cooperative learning methods with investigation group learning strategies running well and conducively in addition to students can see real interactions between spaces (2) Learning outcomes increase after the the development of learning learning media is based on the results of pretest and posttest data T-test which shows a significant value of 0,000, which means <0.05
