Abstract

Urinary tract infection is one of the infectious diseases that pften occur especially in developing countries. Urinay tract infections can lead to significant morbidity which women exprecience more frequent urinary tract infections than men. The purpose of this study is to decribe the using antibiotics with urinay tract infections in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. The high use of antibiotics along with irrational use will potentially increase the prevalence of antibiotics resistance problems. This study was conducted using observational methods and retrospective data collection obtained from medical record records obtained 170 patients and quantitative approach, namely the ATC, DDD and DU90% methods. The sampling method is divided into III periods from January to December 2017 obtained from the patient's medical record. The result of the study there from 12 jenis types of antibiotics including: cefazolin, ceftazidine, ceftriaxone, cefoperazon sulbaktam, meropenem, ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin and showed that the use of antibiotics in quantity at most is ceftriaxone for 21,7 DDD/Patients-Day and those entering the segment DU90% is cefriaxone, levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin.
