Abstract

Air transportation or commonly called air transportation, in the event of the occurrence of a transportation Wings Air is responsible for passenger safety and the safety of the goods that must be transported. For example the occurrence of accidents, flight delays, flight delays, and damage and loss of goods placed on the checked baggage. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the transport agreement between the company and Wings Air passengers, the degree of compatibility between Wings Air's performance and the interests of passengers when viewed in terms of service quality, legal responsibility given by Wings Air to passenger and baggage transportation. This study uses a normative juridical approach, namely a method of approach in legal research conducted by examining library materials or secondary data as basic material to be examined by conducting a search of the rules and literature relating to the problem under study, while This type of research is descriptive research, namely research that aims to describe something in a particular area and at a certain time. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of the study show that the implementation of the agreement between the airlines and Wings Air passengers is theoretically in accordance with the provisions of the legislation applicable, but in terms of implementing the agreement, Wings Air has not been able to implement the existing regulations in reality. In terms of service quality, passengers feel dissatisfied because Wings Air has not been able to meet the maximum level of customer interest. In the event of loss and / or damage to luggage items, Wings Air conducts a search for 14 days. After the item is found, it will be returned to the owner but if the item is not found it will be compensated. Similarly, in the case of flight delays, compensation will also be given to passengers. But in reality passengers who have experienced damage and / or loss of checked baggage items and flight delays have never received compensation, passengers feel disadvantaged because they are not in accordance with Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 77 of 2011.
