Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) the influence of the family environment on the entrepreneurship efforts of 2015 Accounting Education students at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. (2) the influence of the attitude of independence on the entrepreneurship efforts of 2015 Accounting Education students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. (3) the influence of the family environment and the attitude of independence towards the entrepreneurship efforts of 2015 Accounting Education students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This research includes the type of associative quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of the 2015 UMS FKIP Accounting Education Study Program totaling 224 students. 135 students were taken by using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the regression equation: Y = 5.496 + 0.493X1 + 0.594X2. Equality shows that family environment and independence attitude influence entrepreneurship efforts. Based on the analysis and discussion it can be concluded that: 1) the family environment has a positive effect on the entrepreneurship efforts of 2015 Accounting Education students at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. Based on the t test obtained tcount> ttable 7.058> 1.978 and the probability value <0.05 is 0,000. 2) the attitude of independence has a positive effect on the entrepreneurship efforts of 2015 Accounting Education students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Based on t test obtained tcount> ttable 8.544> 1.978 and probability value <0.05, which is 0,000. 3) family environment and attitude of independence have a positive effect on the entrepreneurship efforts of 2015 Accounting Education students at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. Based on the results of the multiple linear regression significance test (F test), it is known that Fcount> Ftable is 456.846> 3.065 and the significance value is <0.05, which is 0,000. 4) effective contribution of family environment variables 39.3% and independence attitude variable 48.4. So that the total effective contribution of the two variables is 87.7%, while the remaining 12.6% is influenced by other variables not examined by the researcher. The Relative Contribution of the calculation of the Family Environment SR (X1) is 44.9% and the Independence Attitude (X2) is 55.1%. While the Effective Contribution (SE) for the Family Environment (X1) is 39.3% and the Independence Attitude (X2) is 48.4%.
