Abstract

The aims of this research are to find out how to conduct parole and supervision of the effectivebess of inmates in Surakarta Class I Prison, in addition, it also aims to determine the purpose of the conviction in order to understand inmates in the completion of their conversation. The result of the study indicate that contradictions arise in conditional freedom. The method of consideration used is a normative approach. The type of research that is used is descriptive. The types of data used include primary data and secondary data. The data collection methods used are library studies and field studies (interviews). The data analysis method that is used in this research is qualitative analysis. Keywords: Conditional Release, Penalty Purpose, Prisoners.
