Abstract

Sharia Banking is a Bank that operates based on Islamic sharia principles in thepresent. There is a rule that if a Conventional Commercial Bank that has a Sharia Business Unit whose asset value is more than 50% of the total asset value of the parent bank, it must immediately carry out a spin off. What is meant by spin off is if the activity unit is then separated from a company and stands as a separate new company while the Sharia Business Unit is a work unit of the head office of a Conventional Commercial Bank that functions as the parent office of an office or unit carrying out business activities based on Sharia Principles , The process of establishing a BNI Syariah bank began with the stablishment of a Sharia Bank Team in 1999, Bank Indonesia then issued a principle and business license for the operation of the BNI sharia business unit. The obstacle in shifting spin off at Bank BNI Syariah is in the field of human resources and IT.
