Abstract

Purwodadi City is the Capital of Groboganyang Regency, one of the Regencies in Central Java Province. Purwodadi City is a transit city that connects several major cities in Central Java. Purwodadi is one of the cities that is developing in various fields both economic, socio-cultural, development and technology. Developments that occur with population growth and high use of personal communication, and diverse livelihoods and people who visit them. Population growth and vehicle use must be balanced with adequate road facilities. Development planning that is followed by structuring the area such as pedestrians, open spaces or open spaces, and parking to be well coordinated. The Development Plan that needs to get the attention of Grobogan Regency is currently one that spurred the development of the Capital of Grobogan Regency, where Grobogan Regency is still lacking the facilities and infrastructure of the city, especially there are no regions that present the development of Purwodadi City as a trading area. In fulfilling this need, one needs to build a central trade and wholesale area, or it can be referred to as the Central Business District (CBD). Grobogan Regency does not have a trade center, where the trade center which has been a small trader in traditional markets in each district. As well as facilitating tourism, accommodation is needed. Using descriptive methods, namely collecting data by means of literature / literature studies, data from relevant agencies, direct observations in the field, and collecting data from the internet such as journals and related books, as well as comparative comparative studies on related buildings. Designing a Mixed Use Building in the Central Business District (CBD) Area of Purwodadi City in Grobogan Regency with the Green Architecture concept that minimizes adverse effects on the natural and human environment and produces a better and healthier place of life, which is done by utilizing energy sources and resources nature efficiently and optimally.
