Abstract

The District Court is a State judicial institution. Is the first court in resolving cases for justice seekers. The State Judiciary Institution is required to have good performance because it deals with services to the community, has the duty and function of enforcing law and justice quickly, simply and lightly as is mandated in law no. 24 article 5 paragraph 2 of 2004. For this reason, the completion of tasks is very important in maintaining the image of the Court because of its relationship with the community. Jobs that are not completed properly indicate that employee performance is low. Employee performance is influenced by rewards, remuneration, work environment, leadership style, and motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between perceptions of remuneration and employee performance at District Court X. The method of approach used was quantitative. Analysis of this research data using SPSS 15.0 For Windows Program. This study uses population studies, namely all employees who obtain remuneration in the X District Court, amounting to 75 people. Data collection in this research is done by spreading the scale to employees. Data analysis using product moment correlation technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a very significant relationship between perceptions of remuneration and employee performance with the results of the correlation coefficient of 0.657 with significance of p = 0.000 (p ≤ 0,01).
