Abstract

Basically, transportation is very necessary to facilitate all activities carried out by humans. The development of land transportation such as the development of public transportation is very rapid from year to year, this also requires development and progress in the terminal as one of the road transportation infrastructure for the need to load and drop people and / or goods, such as at the Malaysia and Thailand Border Bus Terminal including type A passenger terminals. The method used in this study is descriptive discussion, which is carried out by classifying data and evaluating existing data and then concluding planning of the international bus terminal on the Malaysian and Thai borders. The position of the International Bus Terminal for the road network system that can be said to be quite strategic because it is located in the main route of the city that connects two countries namely Malaysia and Thailand, the International Bus Terminal has an area of 3000,000 m2, consisting of building area and public transportation parking. Improve the quality and quantity of services to the community, to get convenience in terms of transportation, especially bus transportation. Provide a place for traders around the terminal with safer and more convenient facilities. Providing a place to attract tourism with the addition of international facilities. Plan safe and comfortable and smooth circulation so that there 2 is no crossing between vehicles that will enter with those going out and inside the terminal itself.
