Abstract

Learning method is one of the important things in achieving learning success. In principle the Tahfīul Qur'ān learning method consists of a variety, which is used as an alternative in learning so as not to appear monotonous, so as to eliminate boredom in the process of memorizing the Qur'an. In MTs N 1 Surakarta there is a Tahfīẓul Qur’ān program which has a target of achieving 8 juz memorization in 3 years. To reach the target, the right method is needed in order to reach the predetermined target. This research has the formulation of the problem of how the implementation of learning methods in the Tahfīul Qur'anic program and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of these learning methods. The purpose of this research is to describe: 1) The implementation of the learning method of Tahfīẓul Qur'ān in MTsN 1 Surakarta in the academic year of 2018/2019. 2) the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of the learning methods in Tahfīẓul Qur’ān program in MTsN 1 Surakarta in the academic year of 2018/2019? This type of research is qualitative research. Then data collection in this study through interviews, observation, and documentation. Whereas the deductive method is used in analyzing the data. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the learning method of Tahfīẓul Qur'ān in MTsN 1 Surakarta uses the method of muraja'ah, tasmi '/ sema'an, sorogan, and bi Nadhar. The implementation of the four methods are, 1) Muraja'ah method is done through rote learning in schools, muraja'ah/memorizing in the dormitory, and examination to test and repeat memorization . 2) The method of tasmi '/ sema'an is done through daily sessions and sema’an monthly. 3) Sorogan method is a daily memorization deposit by the students directly to the Ustadz/Ustadzah. 4) bi Nadhar method is done by the students by reading verses that will be memorized in front of Ustadz / Ustadzah as preparation for further memorization. The supporting factors in the implementation of the method include students’ motivation, professionality of the teachers, the infrastructure, and the use of one type of mushaf. While the inhibiting factors include the inability to read well or not mastering tajwid, lack of muwajjih (teacher), lost memorization, laziness, and the non-conducive environmental.
