Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of participation budgeting, locus of ontrol, giving reward, and information asymmetry to the budgetary slack. Methods of data collection in this study using a questionnaire technique. This study population is all-star hotel in the Surakarta. The sample using is purposive sample method, using 4 and 5 star hotel in the Surakarta. Number of sample 32, with the spread on 3 hotel in Surakarta. Research was conducted on 4 and 5 star hotel in the Surakarta. Data analysis technique used multiple linear regression.based on test results, test results of the research intrumentand and the classical assumtions test show that all variables declared valid and reliable and meetthe assumption of classical test. Hypothesis testing results indicate that participation budgeting, locus of control, and information asymmetry not influence on budgetary slack. while giving reward positive influence on budgetary slack
