Abstract

The research entitled Factors Affecting Driver GrabCar Revenue in Purbalingga Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency aims to analyze the distribution patterns of GrabCar bases in Purbalingga Sub-District, Purbalingga Regency and also the influence of age, education level, working hours, work experience and base position on GrabCar driver income in Purbalingga District, Purbalingga Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative associative method with a survey approach. The sampling technique used is random sampling. Determination of the number of samples using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance limit of 10%, so the number of respondents who made the study sample as many as 36 people. Data analysis used to achieve the first objective is descriptive analysis through spatial approach using the theme of spatial pattern analysis. Whereas to achieve the second goal, the analysis used is the analysis of the frequency distribution table. The results of the data analysis show that: 1) the distribution pattern of the GrabCar base in Purbalingga Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency follows crowd centers which include the economic and shopping centers, education centers, health centers, and also industrial centers. 2) Variable length of working hours, work experience, and base location have an influence on the income of GrabCar drivers in Purbalingga District. The longer the working hours of a driver, the more income tends to be. The longer someone works as a driver also affects the income associated with the speed of completing orders. The faster the order is completed, the faster the driver gets a new passenger. Furthermore, the base location near the center of the crowd will provide an opportunity for GrabCar drivers to get more income. 3) Variables of age and level of education did not affect the income of GrabCar drivers in Purbalingga District, Purbalingga Regency. These two variables are not taken into consideration in the application. So the application only works according to the order that has been set. 4) The average working hours of GrabCar drivers in Purbalingga District are 10-12 hours. The average work experience of GrabCar drivers in Purbalingga Subdistrict is relatively long, namely 1-1.5 years. The location of the GrabCar driver base in Purbalingga subdistrict is mostly around the shopping center, which is near the ABC supermarkets with 24 drivers out of a total of 36 drivers. The average age of GrabCar drivers in Purbalingga District is 20-24 years. The average level of education for GrabCar drivers in Purbalingga Subdistrict is high school graduates, namely 27 drivers or 75%. 5) There are other variables that affect the income of GrabCar drivers in Purbalingga District, namely address or place of residence, marital status, and also car ownership status
