Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to Obtain a description of the meaning of the phrase based on.. rhe group contained in the online news "Liga.net" edition of April 2015. 2) To get an understanding of the meaning of the phrase based on the group contained in the online news "Liga.net" 2015. 3) To get a description of an analysis of the meaning of phrases based on the groups contained in the online news "Liga.net" edition of April 201 5. Research on the use of Indonesian phrases in online news "bola.net" using a qualitative approach, that is by the data collected Selected and then analyzed subsequently interpreted and finally concluded. The results of the study show the use of phrases in the context of the meaning of words in online news articles "bola.net", are as follows: 1) The structure of sentences that form online news articles "bola.net" is the language of news, in this case not all sentences formed and the standard language.-So it is necessary to establish the conversion of the-sentence structure into the main sentence. 2) In every major phrase in forming the phrase of online news article "bola.net" for each data has a different meaning even though the same type of phrase. 3) The division of phrase types by their classes on any data formed in the online news article "bola.net", can be summed up generally has a tendency to use the phrase description and noun phrases on some of the news content that make up the main sentence. 4) As for each data the number and types of phrases used that fomi the main sentences of online news articles "bola.net"
